Privacy Policy

This policy explains how RecPla (“we,” “us”) handles information in the iPhone app “RecPla” (the “App”) and on this website.

1. Information the App Collects

The App does not collect any information about you. All of your data, including plants, records, photos, items, and settings, is stored only on your iPhone and is never sent to our servers or to any third party. The App contains no analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting tools.

2. Permissions the App Asks For

The App asks for access to the following iPhone features only for the purposes below. You can change these permissions at any time in the iPhone Settings app.

  • Photo Library: to choose photos for your records, plants, and items
  • Camera: to take photos for your records
  • Saving to Photos: to save growth comparison images to your Photos library
  • Notifications: to show care reminders on the days your plants are due (reminders are scheduled on your iPhone; no outside server is used)

3. Backups

Backup files are exported to a location you choose, such as the Files app or AirDrop. How they are handled there is governed by the terms of that service.

4. Purchases

RecPla Plus is purchased through Apple’s App Store. We do not receive your payment information, such as card numbers. Whether you have made a purchase is checked on your iPhone using Apple’s systems.

5. Deleting Your Data

You can delete the App’s data at any time by using “Delete All Data” in the App or by deleting the App.

6. Information We Receive Through Inquiries

Messages sent through our contact form (the type of inquiry, your message, and optionally your name, email address, and device information) are used only to respond to you and to improve the App. We do not share them with third parties except as required by law. The form uses Google Forms (Google LLC), and your message reaches us through Google’s service. Google handles it according to Google’s Privacy Policy.

7. This Website

This website uses the following analytics services to understand how many people visit and which pages they view, so we can improve the site. The App (the iPhone app) does not send any information to these services.

  • Google Analytics (Google LLC): Uses cookies and similar technologies to send information such as the pages you view, the time of your visit, your browser and device type, and your approximate region to Google. This does not include information that identifies you personally. Google handles this information according to Google’s Privacy Policy. To stop this, you can use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on provided by Google.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc.): Counts page views and visits without using cookies. It does not collect information that identifies you personally.

This website does not use cookies for advertising.
